Martin Nes was re-appointed to serve as Acting Chief Executive Officer on an interim basis in February 2012 having previously held the roles of Chairman and Acting CEO at S.D. Standard Drilling. Mr. Nes is well versed in the Company and the shipping and offshore industry and has broad corporate experience where he has been involved in and led a number of projects. Mr. Ness also serves as CEO of Ferncliff TIH AS, one of Norway´s largest investment companies. Prior to joining Ferncliff, Mr. Nes worked for the Norwegian law firm Wikborg Rein, both in their Oslo and London offices and for the shipping law firm Evensen & Co.

Geir Johansen joined S.D. Standard Drilling in October 2011 and is responsible for financial control and reporting, treasury, banking relationships and investor relations.

A seasoned financial executive, Mr. Johansen has more than 20 years of experience within the maritime and oil and gas industries across Asia, the Americas and Europe. Prior to joining S.D. Standard Drilling he served as CFO for DOF Subsea, including DOF Subsea ASA and DOF Subsea Asia Pacific. Prior to that, he was at Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Maritime, last serving as Director of Finance. Mr. Johansen began his career at Saga FC.

An industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the offshore drilling business, Michael Kelley joined S.D. Standard Drilling in December 2011 and is responsible for overseeing rig operations including crew safety and health, fleet operational performance, environmental compliance and the successful completion of S.D. Standard Drilling´s rig fleet.

Prior to joining S.D. Standard Drilling Mr. Kelley was an independent consultant providing expert advice and counsel on proprietary initiatives, large-scale collaborative projects and organizational development for major independent and state-owned oil and gas companies. Prior to that he was Vice President, Operations at TODCO (The Offshore Drilling Company) and before that was Operations Manager with ENSCO International Inc. Mr. Kelley began his career and worked at R&B Falcon Corporation for 17 years.

Peter V. Bridle joined S.D. Standard Drilling in March 2012 and is accountable for providing leadership and direction toward creating an incident and injury free operating culture. Mr. Bridle leads the development of a world-class Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management system and provides corporate oversight regarding its implementation.

Mr. Bridle has nearly 25 years of experience working in the exploration and production industry and brings extensive experience developing safety cultures and achieving world class safety performance by building engaged and motivated workforces. Before joining S.D. Standard Drilling Mr. Bridle was HSE Director at Noble Drilling, Vice President Health Safety and Environment at TODCO (The Offshore Drilling Company), Health, Safety and Environment Director at ENSCO International and served as Senior Safety Engineer at Shell International Exploration and Production.

Ron Cunningham joined S.D. Standard Drilling in March 2012 and oversees the construction and delivery of the Company´s fleet of jack-up rigs. He is also responsible for developing and implementing the maintenance program for the fleet and leading operational engineering support.

Mr. Cunningham brings to the role deep engineering experience and has worked for 35 years in engineering management and technical roles worldwide. He has built and overseen technical teams while developing programs to ensure asset reliability, employee safety and environmental protection. During his career Mr. Cunningham has worked at Hercules Offshore, Inc., TODCO (The Offshore Drilling Company), Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc., Arethusa Offshore Company and Sedco Forex. He began his career as a hull designer in Newport News, Va. and later as an engineer at several shipyards that now make up Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding.

Johnathan P. Roberts joined S.D. Standard Drilling in April 2012 and will head up and create the formation of the company’s operations team. Johnathan will be accountable for helping to establish a second-to-none, employee-centered operating culture designed to create a highly engaged and motivated workforce, operating to the highest international standards. Additionally, Johnathan will be charged with providing oversight regarding the rigs under construction at Keppel FELS Shipyard for all commissioning activities related to operational functionality and readiness to deliver outstanding performance and to surpass even the highest customer expectations.

Mr. Roberts has more than 25 years of experience working in drilling rig operations, construction and quality assurance and has overseen multinational workforces on projects worldwide. Prior to joining S.D. Standard Drilling Mr. Roberts was Senior Operations Manager with Axon Energy Products, Gulf of Mexico Rig Manager for Hercules Offshore Company, Senior Project Manager at TODCO (The Offshore Drilling Company) and Project Coordinator for ENSCO International. Mr. Roberts began his career at WasteQuip as Assistant Plant/Rig Operator and held a number of positions of increasing responsibility including Senior Operations Manager.

Tatiana Dolobko brings to the role 11 years of audit and accounting experience in almost every phase of the oil and gas business. Prior to joining S.D. Standard Drilling Ms. Dolobko was with DOF Subsea Pte. Ltd., most recently as Senior Management Accountant. She also served at Acergy as Project Cost Controller and was an Auditor at Ernst & Young. Prior to that she held Chief Accountant roles at Terra-Torf Ltd. and Mettal Co. Ltd.

Andy joined S.D. Standard Drilling in July 2012 and heads the strategic planning of the procurement and logistics function. Mr Smith brings with him more than 20 years of supply chain experience, with the last 12 years spent in the Oil & Gas and Maritime industries supporting diverse geographic locations

Mr Smith will be accountable for building a cross functional team along with the development and implementation of key strategic procurement and logistics initiatives supporting SD Standard Drilling operational activities.

Mr Smith embarked on his professional career back in England where he started as a Buyer and later relocated to Australia taking up positions of increasing responsibilities. Prior to joining S.D. Standard Drilling, Mr Smith was Regional Head of Purchasing and Logistics with Wood Group PSN. Before that, he held the appointment of Procurement Manager for DOF Subsea Australia and Singapore.

Eugene joined S.D. Standard Drilling in August 2012 and is responsible for leading the Company’s human resources strategy and programs. This includes talent acquisition and development, business partnership, total rewards, employee inclusion and engagement.

Mr Loh brings to the role 13 years of human resources experience across various industries. Prior to joining S.D. Standard Drilling, he was HR Manager for the Asia Pacific region at Vopak, the world’s largest independent tank storage provider. Previously, Mr Loh held the appointment of Site HR Leader at Honeywell Aerospace’s aftermarket plant in Singapore. Prior to that, he held regional HR roles at Celanese, a US based specialty and intermediate chemical producer.

Derrick joined S.D. Standard Drilling in July 2012 and is responsible for mapping out the Company’s information technology strategic footprint. This includes strategizing and implementing network and application solutions that enable S.D. Standard Drilling to operate at its peak.

Mr Tan brings to the role more than 10 years of strong experience in IT implementation and setup. Prior to joining S.D. Standard Drilling, he was Information Management & Technology Manager at PCI Limited, a strong player in the hi-tech electronics manufacturing industry.
